Xela nights
Published January 14th, 2008 in Places and moments. When everything seems out of place Xela is there… waiting.
A quick look at Cerro Quemado reminds me my rock climbing days (back then when I didn’t work on saturdays). Then, after a minute or so walking around I get it, I get the feeling again. A little smile starts to grow and there you go: the energy comes back.

Yes, no matter how everything could be out of place, the same places are there, the same buildings, nah, better! The atmosphere is cold again. Xela changes but somehow stays the same…
There are places staying almost the same, without change… just to remind us things keep going.

this is a very intresting place that i would like to visit one day
I spent my share of days and nights in Xela.Motels, pig farms, morning breakfast at Pollo Campero, tiendas.A friend of mine here in the states served his LDS mission in Xela. Named their first baby Xela.Would I ever return to Xela? I have no reason to but I dont have a reason not to either.Xela is one of those places that you create your fond memories, and add your 20 pictures to your blog. All in all Xela is still part of my life.
