Guatemala Pictures

After climbing Pacaya Volcano lots of times, it becomes a place for quick training. But this view is worth the driving, stopping by and waiting for the night to come.

The normal climb is on the other side and sure it is beautiful too. This time, we took a nice turn surrounding the volcano and ending at this place called “Los Pozitos”. It is a calmed place with some houses around and a nice road to this view.

It requires patience on a normal vehicle and if you want to get closer you’ll need a jeep. The whole landscape is dead nature as you approach to the volcano as all you see is lava and sand.

The lava flow is visible at night from this perspective and from some other parts of the road.

Take your car, bike or your old shoes and head to the south of Guatemala. On your way there you’ll see the signs. Then reach the lagoon and… and ask… it is not an easy explanation and you have to do some work huh???

Also, consider climbing the volcano. It is a nice place with nice view from the top.
