Killing time at Sipacate
Published January 21st, 2007 in Places and moments.
Not every trip becomes a long story to tell… but for sure it becomes a picture to see.
Zapping in front of your tv, changing channels constantly is a waste of time. In fact, even if one is tired, that wont relax you and you will feel even more tired at the end. So, I decided with a bunch of friends to find out what was happening at Sipacate that afternoon.
This beach has some good waves for surfers, a nice atmosphere and food. Sure, it was worthy and only took me like 1 hour to get there from Guatemala City.
Wanna visit it by yourself?
Take the road to Escuintla and follow the signs to the south… straight. Then choose whatever road you want to as there are few places to visit. Sipacate is just one of them. Remember, the public beach only has rudimentary accommodations, but I’m sure you are smart enough to go for the view and not the restaurants..
