Just relax and enjoy the view

This is Agua Volcano seen from Acatenango when we where coming back from the summit.
It is my classic avatar picture as I’m facing the volcano as usual. Like listening, but mostly waiting, thinking. It was kinda cold that day. There is something magic about Acatenango.
On an ascent where I was just a guest, my two old friends where celebrating like mad crazy climbers at the summit. I said to myself “whats the deal?”… To my surprise, one of them was celebrating back in those days, his ascent number 45.
Wow, thats sick - I said to myself -
And know I find myself knowing that I will reach that number too.
Wanna see what I saw?
Take your tent, sleeping and some good friends and make your way to Acatenango. This is the one that got many people into mountain sports. Ask in Antigua Guatemala for tours or ask some experienced climbers. Guatemala has plenty of them as it is the Country of Mountains and Volcanoes.

I try to climb the Agua Volcano once, but I can´t reach the top due to my “excelent” physical condition, jajaja.
