Dude, this is my space

While walking around on some trails in Petén a little movement caught my attention, it was this guy. I still don’t have any idea of what kind of animal it is but one thing is certain, he is saying “this is my space”. (I guess is a male because of that distinctive orange thing…). Very often, only the males have this kind of distinctions and the females are frequently bigger, I could be wrong, correct me if you have a better idea of this.
It was about half the size of the palm of my hand, but still had no fear showing me that was his space.
Back in the city I see people running away from conflict, and very often, instead of getting some respect, they just run away even from people half their size.
I wonder if this “educated manners” so common in our society really help or we should go back to the natural way of “this is my space”. Not trying to start a war here but I guess you get the point: some people with “good manners” often run away while this little guy is telling me “dude, YOU go away”.

Hi there!!!
